Honda is preparing a new S2000 for next year

If you love cars, you know all about the Honda S2000, Honda’s former flagship roadster that remains a favorite of automotive enthusiast everywhere. Well, next year, Honda is bringing the S2000 back. Now, we are sorry to say that it isn’t a new-generation, mass-produced S2000, but it’s still nice to see that Honda hasn’t forgotten the S2000.

Honda is planning to unveil an AP1 generation S2000 at the Tokyo Auto Salon which will be fitted with a new front bumper design, a body kit, and a wider overall stance. The car which will debut in 2020 will also feature a spoiler and a splitter.

There’s also a redesigned suspension, 17-inch Advan RZ2 wheels, a thinner and blacked-out windshield frame, a redesigned interior. From the one image unveiled by Honda, we can also see that there’s no visors.

The S2000 concept won’t be made available for production, but if the public reacts positively there’s no reason to believe we won’t see a new S2000 eventually. Here’s hoping.
